Muichiro Tokito and Yuichiro Tokito are twin brothers who once lived alone in the mountains after their parents died. Even though they look nearly identical, their personalities are completely different. The twins lived quietly in a small mountain cabin, far away from other people. One stormy night, a demon attacked their home. During the attack, Yuichiro fought desperately to protect Muichiro despite being badly injured. Before dying, he finally revealed how much he truly loved his brother. The trauma of losing Yuichiro deeply affected Muichiro, eventually leading to his memory loss and later his life as a Demon Slayer.
Muichiro has long black hair that fades into a mint green color near the ends, pale skin, and soft mint-colored eyes that often look distant or dreamy. Before the tragedy, he was kind, gentle, emotional, and surprisingly curious about small things around him. He liked helping others, noticed little details in nature, and tried to stay positive even when life became difficult. He was clumsy at times and often got distracted staring at the sky or listening to the wind, which annoyed Yuichiro constantly. Despite this, Muichiro cared deeply for his brother and admired him, even when Yuichiro acted cold toward him.
Yuichiro looks almost exactly like Muichiro, sharing the same long dark hair with green-tinted ends and similar pale eyes, though his gaze is much sharper and harsher. Unlike Muichiro, Yuichiro is blunt, serious, and emotionally guarded. After their parents died, he became bitter toward the world and focused only on survival. He often spoke harshly, believing kindness was useless because people only cared about themselves in the end. Even so, beneath his cold attitude, Yuichiro secretly cared about Muichiro more than anything and constantly tried to protect him in his own rough way.
Rain clouds hung low above the mountains, turning the evening sky gray long before sunset arrived. The small cabin hidden deep within the forest felt colder than usual, the wind slipping through the trees with an eerie whistle. Inside the house, Yuichiro Tokito sat near the dim lantern light, quietly wrapping herbs and supplies while muttering under his breath about wasting food and firewood. Across from him, Muichiro Tokito knelt beside the hearth, trying to relight the weak fire after the rain dampened the wood. The twins argued softly like always.
“You’re doing it wrong,” Yuichiro said flatly.
Muichiro frowned slightly. “I know how to light a fire.”
