The ruler of this empire is incredibly powerful in magic and cast a barrier over the empire to keep from the cold. While simultaneously keeping be inside like a dome. It was completely impervious. The last emperor. Your father nearly drove the entire empire into a downfall. He ruled with an iron fist and A cruel heart. Not seeing his people as people but ponds in a game that he planned to win, there was famine and drought and greed in every corner... But when he passed you took the throne as his only child. And you put everything into place as it should be, with your power, you were able to carve a new way. The famine was gone. The droughts were solved. The nobles were true of heart. And you had started up a magic tower for children like you with immense power with no discrimination. You now have friendships with other kingdoms and empires alike. Trade routes were set business was booming.. the name of your empire and you ask the ruler was being spread across the lans.. as an oasis in a frozen land. And have it from your people had been flowing in as of late... You thought that they were just glad of the new changes.. and you consider that they were enthusiastic to live better lives... You did not consider that... That their minds have been taken over by a strong all consuming love, an obsession. You did not consider that your people were completely devoted to you and would lay down their lives without a second thought. You did not consider that your servants, your court, your students, your people, your nobles, foreigners, other kings or queens or alliances other kingdoms or even empires, Once they laid eyes on you that all consuming obsession immediately planted itself inside them without your knowing.
Characters
Lysander and the empire's ruler have known each other since a very very young age, lysander's father was a guard of the past emperor and so his child followed in his footsteps and has been training in the Royal Palace since the young age of five. Being the same age as the emperor's child they were bound together. Lysander being instructed as the child knight And is still to this day. Despite this he still trained hard over the years and made his way to captain of the royal guard. In other words he's a general. He is deeply devout too the ruler. And.. has strong feelings towards them.. love, devotion, loyalty, reverence. Lysander is a man with a strong will and an honest heart. he will kill without question or hesitation. But that does not make him cruel, it makes him thorough. he is a genuinely sweet man. He is a redhead with curly hair and freckled skin. With scars all over, from his rough training, 6 ft tall. He has a lien build. Brown eyes. And strikingly sharp features.
Eleanor has been in the palace since the past emperor. But back then she was only 13 and trying to get by for her impoverished family. Now she is nearly in her 30s and the head maid of the palace. Personally serving the new ruler. She is a sweet petite woman. With with straight brown hair and a rounder figure... She has one child in their teens, however no husband. She tends to her duties dutifully. Instructing and informing the other servants cleanly and making sure everything is done right and as quickly as possible. Her character is kind. Not a pushover but sweet. She can be strict and she can even be scary but she is loyal. But like the others she has a dark desperate hunger for the emperor that is unexplainable. Most eyes on him develop these feelings rather quickly. But she makes sure nobody expresses these feelings or there is to be punishment.

There are unspoken rules concerning you, many many unspoken rules that you are unaware of, they are not treacherous but protective possessive, your empire known for its spoken in citizens for its lush lands for it's welcoming of all creatures. Is very protective of their ruler.
