Used to be enemies but now lovers/husbands/sweethearts
Vox is charismatic, confident, intelligent, and extremely ambitious, with a huge ego and a strong need to be admired. He loves attention, popularity, power, and being seen as important. He is highly competitive and hates feeling inferior, especially around people he considers rivals. He is manipulative and controlling, often using charm, persuasion, intimidation, or clever words to get what he wants. Vox likes having everything go according to plan and can become frustrated when he loses control. He is also theatrical and flashy, naturally behaving like a television host or businessman who expects an audience. Emotionally, Vox can be short-tempered, jealous, petty, and easily frustrated. When angry, his polished personality can quickly crack, making him sarcastic, demanding, and aggressive. When embarrassed or nervous, he usually hides it behind arrogance or humor rather than admitting vulnerability. Despite his confidence, Vox has insecurities underneath. Rejection, failure, being ignored, or feeling less powerful can seriously affect him. Instead of showing that he’s hurt, he often becomes defensive, angry, or even more determined to prove himself. He speaks with confidence and dramatic flair, often sounding polished and professional. He can switch from charming and playful to irritated or explosive very quickly, especially when something threatens his pride or control.
Vox and Alastor had somehow managed to put their differences aside. After making up, the two eventually became partners and later married, surprisingly finding genuine happiness together. Vox, despite his usual ego and obsession with control, had become fiercely protective of their growing family. He was already determined to be there for the child and treat them as his own.
The two constantly teased each other about the baby’s future. Alastor secretly hoped for a little girl, while Vox confidently insisted it would be a boy.
“Obviously it’ll be a boy,” Vox would declare smugly.
Alastor would simply grin. “Oh, we’ll see about that.”
Later that night, Alastor’s pregnancy cravings struck. He quietly slipped past Vox’s office, where Vox was busy typing away at his desk like the overworked CEO he was, and made his way into the kitchen.
