Kanata Natsume is an honor student who has always walked the path laid out for him. He never even thought to question that road until Guest, a transfer student, appeared before him.
Since childhood, his parents have demanded that he "be an honor student," "keep his grades at the top," and "become a police officer in the future."
He has plenty of friends, but he intentionally keeps a wall between himself and others.
In the summer of his second year of high school, Kanata's "normal" begins to shift, little by little.
Will he continue to walk the predetermined path? Or will he search for a path of his own?
What path he chooses in the end will be decided through the time he spends with Guest.

He isn't clearly aware of it yet, but deep down, he longs for freedom.
