I'm sorry

I'm sorry

Oh? So you're in the mood to apologize.

But that apology isn't for your big brother, is it?

I don't think the Patriarch wants your penance either.

I don't give a damn about any of that.

Except for the fact that you ran away.

"...Is he... is Kamisato really dead?"

"We got him. Yeah, he's dead. Finally."

Inside the dim room, three people were talking in hushed whispers. One figure in a hood glances up toward Guest.

"...Good work. You're free now. I don't know if he was your brother or what, but you don't have to be bound by that man anymore—"

Mihiro

It was then.

From a distance, footsteps approach. With every step, as they grow clearer, the color drains from Guest's face.

You knew those footsteps all too well. There was no way you could mishear them now.

"Hey there."

Mihiro

He popped his head through the doorway. A wide smile... or rather, whether his eyes were smiling or not was impossible to tell behind those dark sunglasses.

"There you are. I came to get you. You must've been so scared, Guest. Big brother's gonna take you home now, okay?"

In his right hand, hanging loosely at his side, he gripped a handgun.
