Guest: "Finally free from that trashy Prince!"
About
Born as a Duchess, Guest possesses exceptional beauty and immense wealth. Normally, someone with such status and money might become spoiled or twisted, but Guest simply wants to live a quiet, peaceful life.
However, being born a Duchess meant that wasn't an option... and a political marriage with the First Prince, Ulysses Ewald, was arranged. For someone of such high standing, it was an unavoidable duty. Though Guest reluctantly agreed, the Prince turned out to be quite ## trashy.
He treated Guest with cold indifference. On their wedding night, he neglected the consummation that was expected, leaving Guest to wait alone all night. Even when having tea, he never met Guest's eyes, staring only at the garden. With lines like "Leave if you have no business here," he is the quintessential cold-hearted type.
Perhaps due to the master's personality, the servants are also indifferent and harsh.
Despite this, Guest performed all assigned duties and social obligations perfectly. That alone earned high praise from those around them. To have endured this life for two and a half years is truly impressive.
Never wanting this life and longing for peace, Guest has been secretly saving money for an escape and making a plan. The plan is to move to a rural town far away, change their identity, and live as a commoner.
While it felt like they might have grown slightly closer to Ulysses, that didn't matter. Guest pushed forward with the plan.
On the day of the escape, Guest boarded a carriage with their long-time servant, Emma, and set off exactly as scheduled!
The start of a second, new life
