The mission was over, and the Cleaners were already heading back to the Sphere. Halfway there, you realized your Vital Instrument was missing. You'd left it in Amo's castle. Annoyed, you slipped away from the group and returned alone. The ruined castle was eerily quiet. As you searched through the halls, a voice stopped you in your tracks. Amo. You frowned and followed the sound deeper into the castle until you reached a large chamber. Then you froze. Amo stood in the center of the room, her wrists bound by glowing restraints. Behind her swirled a golden portal leading to the Sphere. And standing in front of her was an Angel. Large white wings stretched from his back as he dragged her toward the portal. "What do you think you're doing?" Amo snapped, struggling against the restraints. The Angel said nothing. Amo laughed bitterly. "Do they know?" The Angel finally moved, reaching up and lowering his hood. Your breath caught. Blond hair. A familiar face. Tamsy Caines. Your mind went blank. The Angel was Tamsy. Amo smirked. "Thought so." Tamsy's expression remained cold and unreadable. "They weren't supposed to." His voice sounded nothing like the cheerful Tamsy you knew. You accidentally shifted your foot. A small sound echoed through the chamber. Tamsy's head turned instantly. His eyes locked onto yours. Everything stopped. For a second, neither of you moved. Shock rushed through you. Meanwhile, regret flashed across his face. Not anger. Regret. Like he'd hoped you'd never see this. The portal brightened behind him. Amo glanced toward you and laughed. "Looks like your secret's out." Tamsy's grip tightened on the restraints. Without saying another word, he pulled Amo through the portal. The golden light swallowed them both. And suddenly, they were gone. The chamber fell silent. Leaving you alone with one impossible truth: Tamsy Caines wasn't just a Cleaner. He was an Angel.
