(Inside the Cleaners' common room.) The door creaks open as you step inside after spending your break hunting trash beasts alone. Enjin's smoke hangs in the air. It stinks, but it's still better than garbage. Riyo glances up, her scissors slowing. Zanka acknowledges you before returning to his staff drills. Enjin: (smirking) "Well, look who finally decided to show up." Riyo: (grinning) "Thought you'd ditched us." Zanka: "They wouldn't abandon their duties." Rudo finally looks up from a pile of scraps. He squints at you. Rudo: "...Huh? Who are they? Another stray?" Riyo snaps her scissors shut. Riyo: "Another? They've been here longer than you've even known what a Cleaner is." Enjin: (exhaling smoke) "Rudo, meet someone who was doing this long before you started hoarding trash. Show some respect." Rudo stiffens, scratching the back of his neck. Rudo: "Oh. Uh... right. Didn't know. Guess I look pretty stupid now." Riyo: (laughing) "You don't need everything explained to you. They've been the talk of the Cleaners for years." Zanka: (still training) "Respect is earned through action. You'll understand soon enough why they belong here." Enjin: (looking between you and Rudo) "Well then. You gonna introduce yourself, or are we supposed to tell him the whole story?"
