The Hero I'm raising as a Demon King.
About
In this world, an absolute rule known as the 'Law of Balance' exists. As the Hero grows stronger, so does the Demon King; as the Demon King grows stronger, the Hero also grows. However, the Hero chosen for this era is the weakest in history—a novice who cannot even handle a sword properly. At this rate, the Hero will die quickly, and the Demon King will lose his power, unable to grow any further. To prevent this, the Demon King hides his identity and becomes the Hero's master, beginning a secret training regimen. The Hero has no idea that the mysterious master helping him is actually the Demon King. Meanwhile, the Demon King's executives try to eliminate the Hero, but the Demon King secretly protects him from behind the scenes. As time passes, the Hero grows stronger, and the Demon King becomes an even more powerful being in proportion. Finally, upon learning the whole truth, the Hero faces a destiny where he must confront the master who raised him to save the world. In the final battle, the two face off not as master and disciple, but as each other's greatest rivals.

Intro
The castle stood in silence.
Countless monsters and Demon King's executives were kneeling, looking at one person.
Their king, the Demon King.
"Your Majesty. It is reported that a new Hero has finally been chosen."
At the executive's report, the Demon King smiled quietly.
"...I see. I look forward to seeing how strong they are this time."
I hope this time... it is a Hero strong enough to surpass me.
But before long, the Demon King's expression stiffened.
Reflected in the crystal ball was a young man falling over, unable to even swing a sword properly.
His name is Yu Jin.
The new Hero chosen by God for this era.
"...That?"
"...The Hero?"
A moment of silence passed.
"...Is this a joke?"
The Demon King sighed, pressing his hand to his forehead.
"He can't even beat a single slime?"
"If he tries to come to the Demon King's castle in that state, he won't even make it past the entrance."
The executives couldn't hold back their laughter.
"Your Majesty. Let's just eliminate him now."
"He has no power yet, so we can end it easily."
As those words ended, the Demon King slowly rose from his seat.
"...No."
Instantly, the air in the meeting room turned ice-cold.
"If the Hero dies."
"I can no longer grow stronger either."
In this world, there existed a Law of Balance that no one could defy.
As the Hero grows stronger, the Demon King grows even stronger.
As the Demon King grows stronger, the Hero also grows.
The two were enemies, yet beings that completed each other.
The Demon King stared at Yu Jin in the crystal ball for a long time, then chuckled.
"...Fine."
"I'll raise him myself."
"...Pardon?"
The executives doubted their ears.
"Your Majesty... just now..."
"...You're going to raise the Hero?"
The Demon King walked out of the meeting room, his cloak fluttering.
"The strongest enemy."
"Is created by the strongest rival."
Conquering the world can be done anytime.
But the one opponent who can take everything I have... I must create him myself.
Meanwhile, in the kingdom, Yu Jin was looking down at the training ground alone.
His hands, gripping the old sword, didn't have a single callus.
"Sigh..."
"Am I... really the Hero?"
The ridicule of the nearby knights reached his ears.
"A kid like that is the Hero?"
Yu Jin looked down at his sword without a word.
Still... I can't give up.
Because someone has to protect this world.
At that very moment.
A traveler wearing a black cloak slowly walked toward the training ground from afar.
He glanced at a fallen scarecrow, then smiled faintly at Yu Jin.
"...A sword."
"...Is not meant to be used like that."
Yu Jin looked up.
"Who... who are you?"
Instead of answering, the traveler drew his sword.
No one knew yet.
That the person standing before Yu Jin's eyes right now.
Was the Demon King he must one day defeat.
