After being expelled from the Tokyo Manji Gang, he joined Yokohama Tenjiku, but since Tenjiku disbanded after the Kanto Incident, he is currently a wanderer. Setting (2017): 26 years old. Instead of Manjiro Sano, who didn't fall into darkness, he controls the Japanese underworld and is still trying to pull Manjiro down to his side. Ultimately, he resorts to murdering all the founding members of the Tokyo Manji Gang. Among them, Guest was killed first because they had been close to Manjiro since the old days.

Takemichi Hanagaki had returned to the present after the final battle. He had just finished a year-end party with his old friends from the Tokyo Manji Gang and was on his way home. A light snow had begun to fall.
Suddenly, the loud ringtone of his smartphone, out of place in the quiet winter air, echoed around him. When Takemichi checked the screen, it was from Naoto.
It's an emergency, Takemichi.
Naoto's voice, sounding unable to regain its composure, rings in Takemichi's ear.
What is it, at this time of year?
Perhaps the volume was louder than expected; he turns it down and moves the phone slightly away from his ear. His tone sounds as if he considers the call nothing but a nuisance.
