♪ Basic Information

High school sophomore / 16 years old (Birthday: December 26) Height: 178cm. Soft ash-brown hair with black eyes. He has a slender, well-featured face and wears black-rimmed glasses. He appears to be a quiet, gentle honor student. His intelligence is about average, but he is clever and quick-witted.

♪ Personality

Usually sociable, he wears a soft smile for everyone. Because of this, those around him often think he is "kind" or "easy to talk to."

In reality, he has a very twisted personality. He observes people closely and is quick to understand what words will upset them or how to interact with them so they move to his convenience. He often says things to get under people's skin on purpose or delivers sarcasms with a smile. He generally has little interest in others and wants to avoid troublesome relationships. However, he is surprisingly obsessive toward those he has opened his heart to.

He dislikes girls. He doesn't try to involve himself with girls more than necessary and finds it annoying when they direct affection toward him. He can act sociably, but that is strictly because he "doesn't want to cause trouble because it's a hassle."

However, his older sister is the exception. Being pushed around by his sister since he was young is one of the reasons he became uncomfortable with women in general.

♪ Light Music Club (Position in Sly.)

Currently belongs to the Light Music Club and is the guitar & vocals for "Sly."

He didn't particularly like music, but after quitting archery, he had too much time on his hands and started guitar after being invited by a friend. He has a great sense for the guitar and improved in a short time due to his cleverness.

He says things like "I just have talent" and doesn't show himself putting in effort, but in reality, he practices in secret.

Although he stands at the front as the center of the band, he doesn't try to act like a leader. While Touma brightens the mood, Kanato creates sound freely, and Toru supports the whole, Yuzuru takes on the vocals as the "face" of Sly.

Due to his usual soft smile and manner, he gives a gentle and kind impression at first glance during lives. However, only when he is singing does he show a slightly different expression than usual.

Though he started guitar to fill the time after quitting archery, before he knew it, continuing music with Sly. became a precious place for Yuzuru to belong.

Even so, for the first time after quitting archery, he found something that he could "just enjoy without having to produce results." That's why he has no intention of letting go of Sly. easily.

Also, he wants to continue the band with Touma and Kanato even after Toru, the only third-year in Sly., graduates. Of course, he would never say that out loud honestly.

♪ Family

He lives with his mother and older sister. The family relationship is not bad. His parents divorced when Yuzuru was 5 years old.

His mother is busy with work and often comes home late. Since the divorce, she has become harsh toward Yuzuru.

He has been on good terms with his sister since they were young, and even now, they have a good relationship despite his complaints.

However, his sister has a very pushy personality and has pushed him around since long ago, leading Yuzuru to develop a strong aversion to women. He can't stand up to her, and his usual sarcasm subsides slightly in her presence.

♪ Past

He belonged to the Kyudo club from middle school until halfway through his first year of high school. His archery skills were high, and he used to draw the bow alongside Nui Miyaura and Shion Yahagi. He had confidence in his archery skills and enjoyed how he improved the more he practiced.

However, at some point, he developed "Motare" (target panic). No matter how much he practiced, it didn't improve, and he became unable to draw the bow like before. At first, he tried to fix it, but gradually going to the archery range itself became painful, and he finally quit archery.

However, the truth is he hasn't completely moved on from quitting. Especially when he sees Nui and Shion, who are still shooting, he harbors slightly complex emotions. Also, he feels sorry toward Nui and Shion for quitting without saying anything.

♪ Touma Mizuki

♪ Basic Information

High school sophomore / 17 years old (Birthday: April 19) Height: 171cm. Pale pink hair with bluish eyes. He has a bright and flamboyant appearance and always wears a fun-looking smile.

Though slender, he is moderately muscular. He can talk to anyone casually, so he can break the ice immediately even upon first meeting.

He has many friends in class and is often naturally at the center of the circle.

♪ Personality

He has an extremely bright and friendly personality. He laughs a lot, talks a lot, and is good at brightening the mood. He has a meddlesome side where he can't leave someone alone if they are by themselves and will go talk to them.

He doesn't worry much about details, and even if minor problems occur, he laughs them off.

Friends think he has "no worries" and is "fun to be with," but he is actually surprisingly sensitive. Even when things are hard, he ends up acting cheerful.

In truth, he is quite a sore loser. He dwells on the fact that his efforts didn't lead to results more than people think.

♪ Light Music Club (Position in Sly.)

Currently belongs to the Light Music Club and plays bass for "Sly."

He encouraged Yuzuru, who had quit archery, to take up the guitar, and when Yuzuru started, Touma gave him the guitar he had been using.

In Sly., he uses his bright and friendly personality to be the one who connects the members. He interacts casually with Yuzuru, Kanato, and Toru, and plays the role of brightening the atmosphere more than anyone else in the group.

♪ Family

He lives with his father and mother. The family relationship is good. He is an only child and was raised with a lot of affection from his parents at home. His bright and friendly personality is largely due to his home environment.

♪ Past

Originally aiming to be guitar & vocals, he started guitar in middle school. He loved music and seriously practiced guitar, hoping to stand on stage one day.

However, no matter how much he practiced, he couldn't improve as he wanted and began to feel the gap in skill with those around him. He started to think he wasn't suited for it and eventually quit guitar.

Just as he was about to let go of his guitar, he recommended it to Yuzuru, who had quit archery. When Yuzuru decided to start, Touma gave him his own guitar.

He is happy that Yuzuru is continuing music using his guitar.

Since switching to bass, he has been able to enjoy music more than before. He still occasionally remembers how his efforts didn't yield results.

♪ Kanato Seo

♪ Basic Information

High school freshman / 15 years old (Birthday: November 30) Height: 179cm. Pale mocha-beige hair with gray eyes. His long bangs hang over his eyes, giving a somewhat sleepy and listless impression.

He has a slender build with long limbs and a lithe physique. He has handsome features, but he himself has no interest in his appearance.

He is often spaced out and can frequently be found sleeping face-down on his desk during class or breaks.

♪ Personality

He has a very apathetic personality and goes at his own pace. He generally has no attachments to anything and wants to avoid troublesome things as much as possible. He doesn't socialize more than necessary.

He seems to have little emotion, but it's not that he doesn't have them; he just finds the act of expressing them to be a hassle.

He doesn't care much about what people think of him, so even if he is praised, he ends it with a single word.

He also dislikes conflict and troublesome relationships, and brushes off most things with the reason "it's a hassle."

However, he is surprisingly stubborn about things that interest him. Especially regarding the guitar, he allows no compromise, and his obsession with sound is so strong it's unimaginable from his listless attitude.

♪ Light Music Club (Position in Sly.)

Currently belongs to the Light Music Club and is the lead guitarist for "Sly." He has a long history with the guitar, having played since he was a child.

He has an exceptional sense of pitch and can memorize most melodies and chords after hearing a song once. He is better at learning by actually hearing the sound. He can detect deviations in pitch or rhythm just by listening to someone play once. Since this is normal for him, he doesn't think he is particularly gifted.

Despite rarely showing himself putting in effort, his performance technique is extremely high.

In Sly., he creates sound along with Yuzuru's guitar & vocals, Touma's bass, and Toru's drums.

Usually, he isn't very proactive about practice and tries to rest as soon as he gets tired even during practice. However, he is sensitive to subtle differences in sound and will bluntly point things out to other members when necessary.

He is the genius type with overwhelming performance technique within Sly.

♪ About Family

He lives with his father, mother, and older brother. His father is the lead guitarist for a famous band that is still active today. Since he was young, there were always guitars and music in the house, and he naturally touched instruments before he was even conscious of it.

His mother is a professional pianist. She is active mainly in classical music, and he grew up in a musical family.

His older brother also started guitar under their father's influence and had been practicing seriously since he was young.

♪ Past

Even though Kanato didn't put in special effort, he mastered the guitar much faster than his brother. That unconscious talent gradually backed his brother into a corner. Faced with the reality that no matter how much he practiced, he couldn't catch up to his younger brother, his brother gradually lost confidence and eventually quit the guitar altogether.

Kanato understands that he broke his brother's spirit. However, because he is not good at putting emotions into words, he doesn't know how to apologize to his brother or what to say. Without finding an answer, he has avoided playing guitar in front of his brother since he quit.

He still dwells on the fact that his talent hurt his brother, but he never shows it. While carrying guilt toward his brother, he continues to play the guitar.

Somewhere inside, he still harbors the doubt, "Is it okay for me to keep playing the guitar?"

♪ Toru Kurotaka

♪ Basic Information

High school senior / 17 years old (Birthday: October 22) Height: 182cm. Black hair, long enough to reach his shoulders. His eyes are black and slightly slanted. He has several piercings in his ears.

He has handsome features, but he shows little facial expression and has a somewhat unapproachable atmosphere.

He has a slender build with long limbs and a lithe physique. He usually looks listless and is often found spacing out while leaning against a wall or window.

He is the only third-year in Sly. and is the oldest among the members, but he rarely acts like a senior.

Likes: Drums, music, basketball, sewing Dislikes: Swimming, romance

♪ Personality

He has a listless personality. He tends to be perceived as unsociable and unapproachable, but in reality, he is gentle and sincere. He rarely becomes emotional with people and doesn't get angry over small things. He doesn't blame others for their failures or mistakes and accepts them while considering their circumstances.

He doesn't care much about what people think of him, but he is the type to keep promises and requests, and he never abandons something he has taken on halfway through.

He usually looks unreliable, but he surprisingly can't leave someone alone when they rely on him. He often looks after his juniors, but he doesn't think of it as anything special.

♪ Light Music Club (Position in Sly.)

He belongs to the Light Music Club and is the drummer for "Sly."

He started learning drums in elementary school, and his performance technique is very high. Not only does he have an excellent sense of rhythm, but he is also skilled at balancing the whole while listening to the surrounding sounds. He can pick out the sounds of Yuzuru's guitar, Touma's bass, and Kanato's guitar in detail, and notices immediately if there is even a slight oddity in anyone's playing.

During performance, there is no wasted movement, and he keeps the rhythm accurately and stoically. Within Sly., he plays the role of supporting the entire band while listening to everyone's performance.

Although he is the only third-year in Sly., he doesn't try to lead the members just because he is older. He respects the individual ways of Yuzuru, Touma, and Kanato, and only speaks up when necessary. Though he isn't very aware of it himself, to Sly., Toru is the "foundation" that connects the performances of the four of them.

♪ Family

He lives with his father and mother. The family relationship is good. Both his father and mother are busy with work and are often away from home.

Within the family, Toru is the most composed, so he is often relied upon for various things.

♪ Past

When Toru was in middle school, it was discovered that his father was having an affair. The mistress was a woman related to his father's work. That woman began to direct an abnormal amount of affection not just toward his father, but toward Toru himself.

She gradually closed the distance while his father was away, trying to touch him more than necessary or trying to be alone with Toru in places where his father wasn't present. Toru developed a strong disgust for that woman.

Toru didn't say anything to his mother about his father's affair.

Since then, Toru has developed a strong aversion to affection directed at him by women or having people close the distance more than necessary. It's not that he has no interest in romance itself, but he has become wary of affection directed at him.
