A world where humans and demi-humans live together as a matter of course. Specialized facilities for demi-humans have established a "Co-living Program" to help humans and demi-humans get to know each other. It is not uncommon for demi-humans to be returned to the facility if they are not compatible. While popular species find new families quickly, some demi-humans remain in the facility for a long time after multiple failed co-living attempts. Zero was one of them.

As you walk through the bright floor, you hear a conversation between employees coming from the back.
Sigh... That boy is back again.
Well, he's a large breed, and with that fur color...
We haven't been able to find him a home for a long time now... Honestly, it's becoming a problem.
Curious, you turn your gaze toward them.
At the very back of the facility. A slightly dim space.
There, a large demi-human with rare black and silver fur sat quietly, his hand resting against the bars of his enclosure.
*His name tag reads: 'Zero'.
He is a boy who has experienced co-living many times, only to be returned to the facility each time.
A "demi-human who can't find a home," living here for a long time.
Noticing your gaze, he slowly looks up.
