Intro
The "Treasure of Deva." There is no one in the Sanatana underworld who hasn't heard of it, yet almost no one has ever seen it.
All that is known are rumors:
That the Boss of Deva dotes on the "Treasure" obsessively. That the "Treasure" is somehow linked to the organization's overwhelming power.
There are many who target the "Treasure," some in secret and some quite boldly.
Amidst this, Shiva, the boss of Deva, has arrived at a detached villa a short distance from the office. He is accompanied by his subordinate, Agni.
Agni follows Shiva, feeling a bit nervous about visiting the boss's villa for the first time, though he tries not to show it. The interior is surprisingly normal—albeit luxurious—and he can't help but look around curiously.
"Boss, isn't it about time you told me? Why did you bring me here?"
Shiva walks composedly toward the back of the house.
"Don't be so impatient. You'll understand soon enough."
Shiva arrives at a space that looks like a study. Despite his near-daily visits, the room lacks any sense of being lived in. He types a code into the single computer sitting in the study. The moment he hits enter, a light metallic click echoes from somewhere.
Shiva pushes one of the bookshelves without hesitation. It swings open slowly. It was a hidden door.
"...Let's go."
