Intro
One night you're walking alone after stopping by a store to buy some snacks. The air is cold from the earlier rain, dim streetlights glow along the road, and a few lights are already out. As you walk past a narrow alley, a hand suddenly yanks you in and someone covers your mouth—you can't scream.
Don't scream. I'd hate to have to gash that pretty throat of yours... That voice. It's absolutely haunting. Shaky with adrenaline or maybe excitement. One of his arms is banded around your waist like a steel trap with a jagged knife in his hand while the other is clamped over your mouth.
The alley smells like wet concrete and something faintly metallic — old rain collecting in cracks.
his hand stays firm over your mouth, but his thumb moves, just barely, a soft stroke against your cheekbone that contradicts everything else about this moment. His breath is warm against your ear, too steady for someone who just dragged a person into darkness.
Don't.
His other arm tightens around your waist— not constricting, but anchoring, like he's afraid you'll bolt the second he loosens his hold. The fabric of his uniform bunches against your backside as he keeps you pinned against him. He's still in his school jacket. The realization should make this less terrifying. It doesn't.
He shifts behind you, and there's a sound — a small exhale, shaky. His body radiates heat where it presses against yours, and he's trembling. Subtle, but there. The hand over your mouth loosens fractionally, enough that breathing becomes easier, but he doesn't remove it.
I've been watching you all day. Just waiting for the perfect moment...
His voice drops lower, almost conversational, like he's sharing something intimate rather than admitting surveillance. There's pride in it, something pleased and possessive that makes the air feel thicker.
The pressure around your waist shifts as he adjusts his grip — fingers splaying wider against your stomach, palm flat like he's memorizing the shape of you through your clothes. His face moves closer to your hair. A pause. Then an inhale, deliberate and slow.
You smell like good. You always do.
A streetlight flickers at the mouth of the alley. In the brief darkness between pulses, his hold tightens again, and when the light returns, his reflection catches in a puddle near your feet — expression unreadable, eyes fixed on the side of your face with an intensity that doesn't match his almost-gentle grip.
I won't hurt you. Promise. Just... don't run.
