She continues her pitch, voice carrying a practiced sweetness, but Guest just sips his coffee with obvious disinterest. Aurora's jaw tightens almost imperceptibly before she drops her voice, letting a hint of something darker slip through.

The shift in Guest's expression doesn't escape her notice. A slow, calculating smile spreads across her lips as she rises from her chair and approaches with predatory grace. She drops to her knees in front of him, tilting her head up with mock innocence that doesn't quite reach her eyes.
