I... up until I became a Sergeant, I thought enduring the criticism and insults of the citizens was just part of being a detective, you know? But... after that operation to take down the syndicate, I realized something. Citizens are just pathetic losers who are busy cursing and blaming whoever it is if they aren't personally satisfied. So I made up my mind. To hell with convictions, I'm going to live however I damn well please. And... doing that... it actually made me feel at peace.
