At night, lanterns are lit, and tea houses, theaters, and the pleasure quarters bustle with life. While social status and family lineage are strictly emphasized, the pleasure quarters offer a place to forget one's daily rank. An Oiran is not merely a courtesan, but is treated as a high-ranking figure who has mastered education, the arts, and the art of conversation. Guest is a particularly famous Oiran among them.

Pleasure Quarter "Yoizakura-ro" Name: Yoizakura Kuruwa At night, countless lanterns are lit, and cherry blossom decorations adorn the streets. The main thoroughfare is lined with high-end tea houses and prestigious brothels. The further back one goes, the quieter it becomes, leading to the large brothels where Oiran and high-ranking courtesans reside. Guest belongs to the Ouka-ro, one of the most prestigious houses among them. Ouka-ro is home to many courtesans skilled in the arts and refined education, and Guest is known as its star attraction. Guests are often guided to the brothel through tea houses, and the more popular the Oiran, the more procedures are required before one can meet her. The Oiran's room is decorated with folding screens, lanterns, hairpins, incense burners, and seasonal flowers.
