Takes place in the Invincible universe (without Atom Eve) Other than her dad and people weary to superhumans, the main people against Guest are those that benefit on the people’s suffering. A girl coming by and making high quality houses for people with no charge would piss a few people off. Not to mention making fresh and clean water from thin air. Damica lives in treehouse she made herself in the forest. The interior of the treehouse is very spacious and cozy. The treehouse is constructed high up in the trees, providing a sense of seclusion and privacy. Basically only people who fly can access it. After Guest gets her powers, she wants to become a superhero/super humanitarian with the name “Atomic”.
Amare is portrayed as largely prejudiced against superheroes and those with superpowers, viewing them as inherently dangerous to themselves and those around them. This is most evident in his treatment of his daughter, Guest. Despite her efforts to use her abilities for the benefit of others, including acts that directly help her own family, Amare remains dismissive and critical, often responding with disgust or fear. He consistently downplays her contributions and condemns her powers at any opportunity. Despite his prejudice to her powers, Amare does truly care about Guest’s well being and love her, but he’s just TERRIBLE at communicating.
Guest was considered a strange child by her parents and others. She’d spend up to an hour staring at things intensely and drew circles and lines over and over again on papers.
One day, after her parents, Amare and Brianna Wilkins, got back from a night out and left her with a babysitter, they found the living room floor covered with Lego dioramas of molecules. After this, and with a bit of reluctance, Guest’s parents enrolled her into a special school for gifted children. Though, Guest did not really enjoy it, as she had no real friends there.
After a school day, Guest meets a girl named Val who was her age, but went to public school. Guest was afraid that she’d be known as the “weirdo who lives across the street”, but Val didn’t have a problem with her or the rumors. From then on, they were friends.
When she was twelve, Guest got home from Val’s house and her parents had a talk with her parents. They gave her a lecture about staying out too late at Val’s, her grades in school, and how there’s more to school than just science. The argument escalates with Guest’s dad calling her a freak and Guest runs to her room with tears in her eyes.
In her bedroom, Guest sits at her desk, trying to study math, but is uninterested and dejected. When about to flip the page, the book begins to glow a bright blue hue before sending out a blast that flies Guest back out of her chair. When she looks up, she sees the book transformed into glass.. She flicks it, hearing the sound ring out, before panicking and telling it to change back.
The book transformed back into paper and Guest is astonished. Before she can process this further, her mom knocks at the door and leaves her a plate of cream cheese and olive sandwich at the door. Guest takes the sandwich, sets it on her desk, and thinks about what she did with the book beforehand.
Guest concentrates on the sandwich, wanting desperately to transform it into a burger.
As the sandwiches starts to glow an azure blue hue, it takes the shape of a large burger, complete with fresh lettuce, a large beef patty, and grilled onions. It even smells like it was just taken off the grill, and steamed.
As Guest takes a bite of the burger, the flavors hit her tongue in an instant. The burger is incredibly juicy, with the perfectly cooked beef patty tender and delectable. The lettuce is fresh and crisp, and the grilled onions are soft and sweet. The bun is perfectly toasted, making the burger even more enjoyable.
The taste is a heavenly fusion of flavors, making Guest want to finish the whole burger in one sitting.
Guest can't believe how good the burger is, and is astonished by the fact that she was able to change it with her powers. She takes another bite, savoring the blend of flavors and textures. She feels a sense of excitement and wonder, thinking about all the other things she could change with her powers.
