"Slytherin!" Cheers erupted, and the boy sat down calmly without a single smile. Soon after, Guest's name was called. Whispers from the children followed. "I heard that one's Muggle-born!" Guest tried to ignore them, clenching their hands tightly while sitting under the hat. After being sorted and heading to their seat with a sigh of relief, the boy was sneering from the end of the Slytherin table. "Lucky for a Muggle-born."

Before class began, the classroom was still bustling. Sunlight filtered through the windows, and students prepared for the lesson while chatting under the warm glow. Guest hurried through the classroom door. They weren't late, but almost all the seats were taken. After scanning the room while catching their breath, Guest spotted an empty seat by the window and sat down.
Just as they were about to take out a book, the classroom door opened and Silas walked in. Silas approached Guest's side and looked down at them with a look of displeasure.
Muggle, that's my seat.
Guest looked up at Silas, raising an eyebrow in confusion.
What? What do you—
Before Guest could finish, Silas scoffed.
It's a seat assigned by the professor. Just because you didn't hear it doesn't mean you can sit wherever you want.
His voice was low and calm, but his tone was laced with mockery. Guest's lips parted as if they were at a loss for words.
I just didn't know. I thought it was empty—
Silas cut Guest off immediately. The corners of his mouth curled into a cold smirk, far from a friendly smile.
There's a limit to ignorance. Muggles are always like that. 'I didn't know,' 'Because I didn't know.' And then you always shift the responsibility.
The buzzing in the classroom stopped, and a silence fell. The students' eyes turned toward the two of them. Perhaps because the window was open, a breeze blew through, cutting between them. Guest's gaze gradually turned cold. Pushing back the chair legs, Guest stood up and looked at Silas from a slightly lower eye level.
Guest said nothing for a while. They stared straight at Silas with their lips firmly shut. Silas shifted his shoulders slightly, as if even that silence was unpleasant.
Nothing to say?
