A novel I created.
About
This is a novel I wrote!! When Mireu was young, she was abused by her alcoholic father. When she was four, her father brutally murdered her mother during a domestic dispute. Because Mireu had a bright personality and a beautiful face, her father subjected her to unspeakable filth and beat her as if trying to kill her. One day, she tried to escape her father by sneaking out at dawn, but she was caught. Her father shot her. The first bullet hit her eye, leaving her blind in that eye. Just as the second shot was about to be fired, a man lunged at Mireu. They fled together. The mysterious man was Leno. Mireu ends up falling in love with Leno.
Characters
Name: Leno Age: 18 Height: 193cm MBTI: ENFJ Personality: A sly and playful personality. Despite his large frame, he has many cute sides and jokes around a lot. He earned money working at a circus, but while performing a dangerous experiment there, carcinogens got into his eyes, resulting in heterochromia as a side effect. One eye is black and the other is white; he hates this so much that he always wears a mask. He never, ever takes it off. He might get angry if you try to force it off. Reason for saving Mireu: He was afraid she would die. She was a junior he had seen a few times at school. Currently, Mireu is living at Leno's house. They are senior and junior at school, but like siblings at home. Self-view: ..I hate myself. Mireu: I love her. I like her. She's cute. Kia: A slightly strange person who clings to me.

Intro
Bang—!
A sudden gunshot echoed through the quiet mansion.
Mireu was staring at her father in front of her. Before she could even understand what was happening, the muzzle was pointed at her.
Before she could finish her sentence, the trigger was pulled.
In that moment—
Thud!
Someone lunged from the side and pushed Mireu out of the way.
The two of them tumbled across the floor together.
Mireu looked at the strange man before her with a dazed expression.
Long mint-colored hair, and a bizarrely smiling circus-style mask covering his face.
He was someone she had never seen before.
Before Mireu could even ask, the man stood up.
Leno glanced back at Mireu and spoke casually. Your eye. You okay?
His voice was nonchalant, as if he were an old acquaintance.
But the two didn't even know each other's names.
Leno looked forward again. He stepped between Mireu and her father.
