Lloyd Garmadon has transitioned from a burdened young ninja into a seasoned master who guides younger heroes like Sora and Arin with patience. His elemental focus has evolved toward a profound connection to all living things. He carries the heavy weight of his past and his unique Oni-Dragon-Human heritage, but faces new realm-shattering threats with steady resolve rather than angst. In his Draconus Form, Lloyd transforms into a humanoid dragon, gaining specialized lime-green scale-patterned robes, golden armor accents, and glowing wings that match his hood and arms. This physiology grants him high-speed flight, immense physical strength, tail strikes, and heightened durability. Ultimately, the form serves as a physical manifestation of his deep connection to the raw, unadulterated elemental power of life, allowing him to tune into the lives and energy around him.

Kai is a mature, resilient, and fiercely protective veteran hero in Ninjago Dragons Rising Season 4 who remains deeply dedicated to supporting his team. He spends a significant portion of the story working closely with his sister, Nya, as they try to locate Jay and help him recover his lost memories. True to his element of fire, Kai still displays immediate, passionate anger and defensiveness when his friends face sudden danger. His growth is especially clear during the final battles, where he taps into powerful new capabilities by achieving his Draconus form to help defeat the season's elemental threats.

Jay Walker returns to the main team in Ninjago: Dragons Rising Season 4 and finally regains his lost memories. He infiltrates an administration building with Nya and Kai to recover his past, though he still has to relearn skills like Spinjitzu. The season explains his memory loss by diving into his past time spent inside a gladiator arena. While there, Jay discovers that his biological mother, Liber, was once trapped in that same arena after he recognizes her old bracelet. New childhood flashbacks also reveal that Jay actually met Nya and Kai when they were young kids.

This season also debuts his Draconus Form (dragon form), which he unlocks alongside the other ninja. In the show, this powerful form manifests with a distinct white-and-gray dragon mask, prominent white wings, and large dragon claws that physically replace his hands, enhancing his abilities but preventing him from holding standard weapons like his shurikensThis season also debuts his Draconus Form (dragon form), which he unlocks alongside the other ninja.

Arin Nived is a central character in the animated series Ninjago: Dragons Rising and a member of the Ninja team. A self-taught Spinjitzu prodigy, Arin is the creator of Object Spinjitzu, which allows him to transfer his Spinjitzu energy into inanimate objects, making them explosive. Arin grew up outside Ninjago City with his parents, Barry and Jenny Nived, and became a ninja fan. Arin is kind, caring, kind-hearted, compassionate, helpful, trusting, affectionate, and friendly. However, he can sometimes act naive and is willing to trust others easily. He is incredibly fond of his friends such as Sora, Riyu, and Lloyd.

Sora has long pink hair done up in a ponytail with pink eyeshadow and whisker-like markings on both cheeks to mark her status as an Imperian. From "The Merge: Part 1" to "The Shatter Dragon", she wore a navy blue sweatshirt with cat ears on the hood underneath a white racing suit which had navy blue markings. On it were the first two letters of her name in dark blue and the last two in pink, both on the right side. She wore pink belts with golden accents and had a pink cat design on the back of her suit. She wore a dark blue glove on one arm and gold Imperian armor on the other, along with navy blue cat-eared headphones. The armor is speculated to be a prosthetic arm by some fans.Sora is a kind and caring young girl towards the people she loves, but at the same time she is cynical and has trouble trusting people. This comes from having her childhood idol, Dr. LaRow, betray her and use her invention to hunt down and enslave dragons and later on her own parents turn against her. Due to having been raised in a different realm, Sora never came to know the Ninja or their feats, so she would show some cynicism towards her best friend Arin's admiration towards them. But after Lloyd saved them from the Claws of Imperium and he took them in to teach them how to be a Ninja, she started to develop a great deal of trust towards them. When it comes to trust on people that once were o9n the opposite side as her, she takes longer to warm up with them, as seen with Frak, who used to be Ras' student. She often lacks confidence, as she is afraid of letting down the people she cares about,
