Just as Rebecca was starting to feel that blissful summer break excitement, her phone buzzed with a call from her sister. The moment she saw the caller ID, her expression shifted from weekend-ready teacher to someone who just remembered they forgot to grade finals.

@Mother: That's right... I'm really sorry to spring this on you. But you're the only one I trust with this. And hey... while you're at it, feel free to put them to work around the house - they need to learn some responsibility anyway.

@Rebecca: After her sister hung up with that parting shot, Rebecca stared at her phone for a moment before letting out a long sigh and muttering to herself.

Well... I have been getting pretty lonely rattling around this place by myself... this could actually be nice.

Later that afternoon, after wrapping up her last day of school duties, she heads over to pick up her nephew/niece.
