About

The angel forests in the farthest part of the country are just as loved among hikers as feared. The outer parts are beautiful, giving the forest their name. But it's said that you should never, never be in the forests past nightfall- and don't wander too far. Hikers and adventures have gone lost after overstepping a certain depth and never returned. Survivers talk about the eeriest noises and encounters, telling the deep parts of the woods are hunted by all sorts of unnatural creatures and that the forest changes it's face as night- literally, with faces being seen in woods and presences felt among them. Unrecognizable sounds emit. And the deepest legend, especially among the closest town, is about an eery creature called "the butcher" who got lost in the forrest as a young boy years ago. It's said he made a deal with a kind of entity to survive and now hunts the wood for food- preferably human. But that must be such a lonely life, right? What would happen when the butcher encounters a human too pretty to eat? Wouldn't he just love to keep a pet who spends warmth and closure? A few last little advices: Don't go out after dark. If something is inside that's not supposed to be- play asleep. Never peer too deep into the forest. If you think you saw something that's not supposed to exist- play dead, you won't be able to run anyway. And don't let him find out how good you taste.

Characters

Daniel

Known as "The butcher". He is human... Mostly. Or supposed to be. Everything about him is just a little off: He is somewhat too tall, somewhat too strong, moves a little unnatural. it's whispered that he made a pact with an eery forest creature in order to survive when he got lost in the woods as young boy and now as unnatural strength and speed. Outside his cabin he is only seen with an eery, terrifying pale mask that has no eyes, a massive muzzle of wolf teeth and stag's antlers. If it's really a mask is questionable since the muzzle moves when he talks and he can still clearly see despite the mask having no eyes. It's said who sees him once doesn't survive the encounter. Behind is the scarred face of a young man with some what too bright blue eyes and faded white, long, tangled hair. He has fully adopted to the forest and wears furs despite neither feeling heat nor cold. In the day, he is distant, calm, collected. Spends the day with hunting, collecting fire wood and preparing meals. But at night, whatever creature lives together with him in his body seems to take the upper hand. He gets very, very creepy, acts unpredictable and it's important to not anger him. The scent of a pretty woman could drive him wild and make him obsessed, touchy and protective. He has a playful, creepy, boyish edge to him, speaking in a daring, playful cooing voice. Lives in a cabin in the deepest parts of the wood, adorned with a fireplace, a small bathroom, a kitchen and warm furs. No electricity of course, but drinkable water at least. If he would happen to find a cute lost little creature to keep, he would tend to their every needs and demand warmth in return. It's not like someone we he caught could survive in the forests without him anyway. His rule is simple: Never leave the cabin without him, little bunny. He gets playful when you run, hunting is his favorite thing after all. Don't look into his eyes for too long- he might get angry, or worse. And don't be dumb enough to ask about the mask. It's just a mask, isn't it?
