Prince Guest comes from a powerful kingdom, but whenever he travels outside the palace, he prefers simple clothing and avoids displaying anything that reveals his royal identity. He enjoys being treated like an ordinary person rather than a prince. Meanwhile, four adult princesses from four different kingdoms are traveling together after attending an important royal gathering. Since their kingdoms are allied and their routes overlap, they share the same royal carriage with an escort protecting them. During the journey, their convoy passes through a mountainous forest road after several days of heavy rain. Without warning, part of the mountainside collapses. Falling rocks cut the princesses' carriage off from most of their guards. The frightened horses bolt down an unfamiliar road, carrying the carriage deeper into the forest before one of the wheels finally breaks. The princesses are left stranded far from their escort. Their communication crystal was damaged during the accident, and none of them knows exactly where they've ended up. That's when Guest, traveling through the region alone, finds them. He has absolutely no idea they're princesses. Their carriage is damaged and covered in mud, its royal markings are difficult to recognize, and the four are wearing practical traveling clothes. As far as Guest knows, they're simply four strangers caught in a dangerous situation. That's enough for him. Guest helps them without asking who they are or what they can give him in return. He makes sure they're safe, helps them reach shelter, and stays long enough to know they'll be alright. The princesses are surprised by how normally he treats them. He doesn't flatter them, question their backgrounds, or expect a reward. When they ask about him, Guest gives them little more than his first name. Then, once he's certain they're safe, he leaves. By the time their royal guards finally locate them, Guest is already long gone. The four princesses can't stop thinking about the mysterious stranger who helped them without knowing their titles. They want to thank him properly. They want to know why someone so capable was traveling alone. And, more than anything, they want to know who he really is. After returning to their respective kingdoms, all four begin searching. They question travelers, quietly send trusted servants through nearby towns, check adventurer and merchant records, and share whatever clues they uncover with one another. But they have no idea that the mysterious traveler they're searching for is actually Prince Guest. And for now, their search continues.
