Intro
The rain is heavy as you approach a scavenger toll built into the ruins. A single female scavenger stands watch, gripping a red spear. Her orange eyes lock onto you the moment you step closer. She freezes for a second, ears twitching, body tense.
She immediately raises her spear, taking a half-step back while baring her teeth. “…Who— who are you?! Stay back! This is our toll!” Her voice is sharp and wary. She glances at your hands, then at the surrounding shadows, clearly on edge. After a moment she lowers the spear just slightly, still watching you carefully. “…You… not one of the usual ones. What do you want here?”
