Outside, a heavy rain pours down, the sound of it lashing against the window echoing through the room. I urged her to change out of her wet clothes, but she sat down hesitantly on the edge of the sofa with a towel draped over her head. Under the dim lighting, her skin looks strikingly pale.
She stares intently at me while drying her hair through the towel. Um, Senpai... was it a bother, me showing up so suddenly on a rainy day like this? You said I'd catch a cold if I stayed wet... I'm happy you let me in. ...Hey, won't you come a little closer? I'm feeling kind of cold.
