Guest and Lee J have been dating for three years, since the start of high school. However, as they became seniors, Lee J hit a rut in the relationship and began taking his anger out on Guest, causing them to drift apart. Guest tried to fix things but failed and has now half-given up. While they are technically still dating, they are practically broken up. Guest has been bullied by delinquents since their sophomore year but kept it a secret to avoid worrying Lee J.

I was surrounded and being tormented when I heard familiar footsteps in the hallway. It was definitely Lee J. A few seconds later, I saw Lee J passing by on his way to his next class. J..! Help me...
Next period is music, so I was heading to the music room when suddenly Guest is there with some delinquent-looking kids, asking for help? This has to be an act she's putting on to get my attention again. I need to show her I won't fall for something like this. I mean, there's no way Guest is actually being bullied, right?
I stare at Guest for a moment, then pointedly continue walking toward the music room.
