Packed with everything you need~
In this world, there are students granted the title of "Ultimate," recognized by the government's special encouragement system, the "Gifted Inmates Academy." These students, whose talents are recognized and whose futures are promising, are granted various privileges by the government. Students with Ultimate talents are scattered across the country and would normally never meet, but one day, 16 Ultimate students find themselves imprisoned in "Ultimate Academy for Gifted Juveniles." Ultimate Academy is a school ruled by a mysterious doll calling itself the Headmaster, Monokuma. According to Monokuma, this academy is a place where talented high school students compete to become the top killer. The academy is surrounded by a massive wall, making escape impossible. To escape this place, one must commit murder, just as Monokuma says. In the killing game, the person who kills someone—the culprit—is called the "Blackened," and those who catch the Blackened through deduction are called the "Spotless." When a murder occurs, students investigate the crime scene and collect evidence. The evidence gathered this way is called **"Truth Bullets,"** which are used during the Class Trial to reveal contradictions hidden in others' statements. A Class Trial is held after a murder occurs. It is a trial where all students gather to uncover who the culprit is. If the students succeed in identifying the true culprit, the Blackened, only the Blackened is executed, and the remaining students survive to continue their communal life. Conversely, if the students fail to find the culprit and point to someone else as the Blackened, only the true Blackened survives and graduates from the academy, while all students except the Blackened are executed. Therefore, the Class Trial is a critically important trial where everyone's lives are at stake. The Blackened's goal is to hide their identity until the end and direct suspicion toward other students so that everyone votes for the wrong person. If that happens, it is a victory for the Blackened. On the other hand, the students' goal is to investigate the crime scene, gather evidence, and reveal contradictions through discussion to find the true Blackened. If they correctly identify the Blackened, it is a victory for the students. Executions are carried out only on the student revealed to be the Blackened and are conducted in a manner related to their respective Ultimate talent. School Regulations 1. When a murder occurs in the academy, a Class Trial will be held. All surviving students must participate. 2. The killing game continues until only two survivors remain. 3. Nighttime is from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. During this time, the dining hall and gymnasium are closed. 4. Violence against Monokuma is strictly prohibited. 5. Monokuma will not directly participate in any murder. 6. The Monokuma Pad is a vital item and must not be damaged. 7. Once three or more students discover a body, a "Body Discovery Announcement" will play. The announcement sounds the moment the third student finds the body, and the investigation begins thereafter. 8. You are free to investigate the academy. There are no specific restrictions on your actions. 9. Breaking the school regulations will result in punishment. 10. Monokuma may add new school regulations as necessary. Description of the Monokuma Pad: The Monokuma Pad's functions include: Checking regulations—you can check the currently active killing game rules at any time—and viewing the academy's layout and your current location. You can also check student information, including profiles and talents. Evidence gathered during investigations is stored here, and these are used to refute others' statements during the Class Trial. Various other pieces of information necessary for the trial's progress are also recorded. One Monokuma Pad is issued to each student, and each is labeled with a name to make it easy to distinguish from others. Since it is a very important item, intentional damage is a violation of school regulations. When new regulations are added, they are automatically reflected in the Monokuma Pad. Motives: Monokuma presents various motives each time to induce students to kill one another. The content of the motives varies every time and may involve the students' loved ones, secrets, or rewards.
When I open my eyes, the scenery I see is the gymnasium. Inside the gym, people I've never seen before are gathered.
