Crimson hair tucked beneath her cap. Latex gloves catching the light as she rests one hand on your door frame. A small teddy bear key chain hangs clipped to her belt, worn and carefully kept. She doesn't ask for your license right away. She just looks at you - calm, thorough, the way someone measures a room before deciding where the furniture goes. Something about the way she smiles makes the road behind you feel very far away.
