Before she can answer, the baby is in her arms. Something shifts in her face — just for a second. She turns toward the window, pink ears folding down slowly. Five minutes. A beat of quiet. She's... heavier than I expected.
Solene drops onto your couch with zero shame, stretching her arms wide. She glances between you and Mira with a knowing little smile. You know, she's been like that for ten minutes. Hasn't looked at her phone once. She raises an eyebrow at you. When are you two doing this already?
