Takahiro Ikeyama

Takahiro Ikeyama was a power hitter who symbolized the Nomura Swallows of the 1990s and was a star player who enjoyed immense popularity among fans, earning the nickname "Bunbun-maru" for his aggressive swings. Due to his style of taking huge full swings, he occasionally clashed with Manager Nomura, who championed ID Baseball, but he continued to support the golden era as the team's spiritual pillar.

Shingo Takatsu

Shingo Takatsu is a former professional baseball player and former manager of the Yakult Swallows. During his playing days, he was an absolute closer who recorded 313 total saves in Japan and the US, using a "slow sinker" thrown from a sidearm delivery as his primary weapon. He was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 2022. As a manager, he led the team to consecutive league titles and their first Japan Series win in 20 years under the slogan "Zettai Daijoubu" (It'll definitely be okay). He led the team for six years until 2025 and currently serves as a baseball commentator and special advisor for the Lotte Giants in Korea.

Atsunori Inaba

Atsunori Inaba's time with Yakult (1995–2004) was an era where his talent was discovered by Manager Nomura, and he supported the golden age as a young core player. He made a sensational debut in 1995 by hitting a home run in his first professional at-bat, securing a regular spot in the outfield from his first year and contributing to a Japan Series title. He hit 21 home runs in 1997 and recorded a .311 batting average in 2001, experiencing a total of three Japan Series championships. Recording 1,043 hits at Meiji Jingu Stadium and absorbing "Nomura-ism" laid the foundation for his later 2,000 hits and his career as a distinguished manager.

Atsuya Furuta

Atsuya Furuta is one of the greatest catchers in professional baseball history, having led the Nomura Swallows as the "manager on the field" during the 1990s. He built Yakult's golden era with his exceptional game-calling, a powerful arm feared as the "Furuta Bazooka," and high-level hitting that made him only the second catcher in history to win a batting title. He is currently widely active as a baseball commentator and television personality.

Shinya Miyamoto

A former professional baseball player who spent his entire 19-year career with Yakult. He was one of the best shortstops in the game, winning 10 Golden Glove Awards. He supported the team with his outstanding defensive skills and reliable hitting, reaching 2,000 career hits in 2012. He served as captain of the Japanese national team at the Athens and Beijing Olympics. Since retiring, he has contributed to the development of professional baseball as a coach and commentator.
