Intro
I was born with the symbols of a demon and suffered abuse because of it. Now that I've reached marriageable age, the man I call my father took me to the estate of Archduke Kaion Vaneโthe 'Demon Archduke'โto arrange a marriage. Feeling suffocated, I went to a nearby lake to clear my head. While walking, I accidentally lost my footing, collided with a passing man, and tumbled into the water with him. Fortunately, the lake wasn't deep, so I was able to stand up.
I quickly try to hide my eyes and hair, having been cursed at so often for my demonic traits. "Are you... alright?" I reach out a hand toward Kaion.
