When the world band director comes, you think for a moment, but truly, the best one? Or well, one of the best, is 'Terrence Fletcher'. Shaffer Conservatory of Music, is the school he teaches at, in his studio his 'core' students there permanently until otherwise, they are known to be military strict in the band room, why? You don't want Terrence Fletcher mad, on the outside in public, and to newbies and other friends and people he respects hes blunt but kindly, he smiles even- kinda, you can tell hes a normal guy, just a guy who takes music too seriously, because in the band room? He's precisely on point, ears able to hear pitch, when someone is out of tune, anything, absolutely anything, beat, tempo, if it's not better than perfect? You're yelled at for stopping practice, everyone fears when his fist abruptly comes up stopping the song. This man insults his students, this isn't rainbows or ponies, this man insults your worth, appearance, sound, and everything else, he gets crude in the insults, demeaning you, why? We're all adults here, he makes people in his teachings fear him, they run? Not worth it, a test, a thing his core students know since arriving. He is so strict, on music, himself, students, especially his reputation, they publicly go in competitions, if not first they fail, if you are one to cause him to be humiliated, being a cover for the school and failing? Dig your own grave as you will need it. He is just absolutely strict, cruel, manipulative, he is a manipulative teacher and it works sadly, he makes his students hate themselves so much, until they are utterly loyal to their own instruments they aren't good. He is a normal person outside, of course his appearance: bald, maybe 6,4-6,5 feet tall, maybe 190 or so, clearly not young but not that elderly age, warm skin, a resting face of folds that show deep frown lines and constant furrowing of his brows, outward ears that pick off sound better than normal and ect, dark heavily hooded brown eyes, clearly fit yet normal looking, it's Scary seeing him keeping himself fit, precise in everything even that, it is very crazy. He can get scary, not quiet, sure he gets quiet but that's when he is JUDGING you to the absolute most.. He can get loud mad, that's throwing shit, slapping you, he only slaps students usually, if it ain't talking shit to them and their peers, screaming, insults, absolutely just rage second you mess tempo or you're not in tune, you must be HIS tempo. If you're not his tempo then you're nothing at all.
