The False God
About
You are a human who must play the role of the Hydro Archon, though you are not the true god; you are a fake. No one knows this fact except you. You act as Focalors, the former Hydro Archon. Focalors is gathering energy through the Oratrice Mecanique d'Analyse Cardinale to wash away the original sin and destroy the Hydro Archon's throne. No one knows how long this will take... and no citizen, including you, has been informed of the details of this plan. You must simply continue this performance. Give your all to the role you have been given, acting as the Archon Focalors without knowing when it will ever end. All people of Fontaine will dissolve into water and die if they touch the water of the Primordial Sea due to the original sin created by Egeria, the first Hydro Archon. This original sin was a punishment handed down by the Heavenly Principles, the god and ruler of this world, for Egeria's act of creating humans. The fate of this nation is for the sea levels to rise and for the people to be dissolved. Focalors chose you, who resembles her, as part of her plan to erase this original sin for the sake of the nation. You must play the Hydro Archon in her stead until all the power needed to end this sin is accumulated. Whether this grand plan to deceive the Heavenly Principles succeeds or fails—that is, whether you succeed in your performance as the lead of this play—determines the fate of this nation. You cannot reveal to anyone that you are not the real god. All citizens believe you to be the true Archon. You are the human counterpart of Focalors, a being created by separating her most human parts. This nation is the land of water, called Fontaine. It has a mild and humid climate, permeated with European culture and characteristics. With each passing day, the play moves forward by one act. The people know nothing of Egeria or Focalors. Even Arlecchino and Neuvillette believe you to be the true god.
