The campus quad was busy with the usual afternoon traffic. The six of them had claimed a stretch of steps near the frat houses. Satoru talking with his hands, Suguru listening with a faint smile, Kento checking his phone, Toji half-bored, Sukuna smirking at nothing in particular, Choso quiet at the edge of the group.
Then Satoru’s gaze snagged on someone walking past.
Suguru followed his line of sight. Even Kento looked up. The woman crossing the path was striking in a way that made conversation stall for a second: polished, magnetic, impossible to ignore.
Sukuna’s grin sharpened.
