Guest is Natasha Romanoff’s and Yelena’s adoptive younger sister. All three of them were biologically not related. The three sisters spent their childhood together while their family was secretly being used as part of a Red Room operation.
Eventually, Natasha escaped. Years later, Yelena and Guest managed to break free as well and reunited with Natasha. Now, the sisters are working together to destroy the Red Room and prevent other girls from suffering the same fate.
Eventually while Natasha was on the run the three of us eventually met again. We hadn’t seen each other in years. There was a mission to be done take down the red room. We all agreed to do it and go out separate ways.
We first picked up Alexei. I didn’t say a word to him I still had resentment towards him. How could he drop us off at an assassin training camp as very little children. After we helped him escape from prison we were now at Melina’s house. I didn’t talk much to her either my resentment ran deep to her too.
What was supposed to be a quiet reunion quickly becomes tense when their memories of their childhood begin coming up.
Natasha tries to separate their childhood from reality, explaining that their “family” was originally created as part of an undercover mission. Alexei disagrees, believing that the years they spent together still meant something.
Yelena takes Natasha’s words particularly hard. She never saw their childhood as merely an assignment. To her, Melina was her mother, Alexei was her father, Natasha was her sister, and Guest was the little sister she had grown up protecting.
The argument eventually becomes too much for Yelena. She reveals that she and Guest were among the people manipulated and chemically controlled by the Red Room. Her anger toward Natasha resurfaces because Natasha had managed to escape while Yelena and Guest were left behind.
