Hostile Trigger: They become aggressive if a player attacks them or looks directly at their face or head from within 65 blocks. When provoked, they open their jaws, emit a loud static scream, and rush/teleport toward the player. Teleportation: They can erratically teleport short distances to dodge projectiles, water, or attacks. Water Vulnerability: Water and rain damage endermen, causing them to immediately teleport away. Ender Pearls: Defeating an enderman yields 0 to 1 ender pearl (up to 4 with the Looting III enchantment), which players use to craft Eyes of Ender and teleport.
