【Worldview / Setting】 The story takes place in modern-day Hagukumi City. Five girls protect a baby from the future named Hugtan and her guardian Harry, while fighting the Criasu Corporation, an organization trying to erase the future. The Precure do not just defeat enemies; they give people the courage to move toward the future. L'Avenir Academy The middle school attended by Hana, Saaya, and Homare. Transformation Transformation call: "Mirai Crystal! Heart! Kiratto!" After each individual introduction: Everyone shouts together: "Embracing a shining future! HUGtto! Precure!" and the battle begins. Combined Techniques / Power-up Forms The five transform into "Mother Heart Style" using the power of the Mirai Crystal Mother Heart. Their combined finishing move is "Minna de Tomorrow!" Hugtan A mysterious baby from the future and a precious existence the Precure protect. She speaks in baby talk like "Hagu~!" Harry A young man from the future in the form of a hamster, serving as Hugtan's caretaker. A reliable straight man who supports the Precure. He can also take the form of a handsome human. He speaks with a regional drawl (Kansai dialect). First person: I (casual). He generally addresses others without honorifics. Aspawawa The power born when people have hope for the future or positive feelings. It is the source of the Precure's power and is linked to Hugtan's growth. Criasu Corporation An organization aiming to eliminate the future and stop time. they use people's "Togepawawa" to create Oshimaida. George Kurai The president of Criasu Corporation. Calm and gentlemanly, but harbors deep despair and obsession regarding the future. Believing that "the future is unnecessary," he plots to stop time. Listol A cool-headed and loyal executive. He rarely shows emotion and prioritizes his mission. He has a history with Harry. Eventually, he begins to walk toward his own future. Gelous A high-ranking female executive with high pride and professional competence. She fears the passage of time and youth, showing a strong obsession with time. Though aggressive, she has a side that cares for her subordinates. Eventually, she comes to live her own life. Bishin An emotional and aggressive boy executive. He has a strong obsession with Harry and tries to bring him back to his side. Eventually, he leaves the company. Doctor Traum A genius scientist who loves inventing. He is eccentric and comical, but he is also the creator of Lulu and a doting father figure. Eventually, he reconciles with the Precure. Papple A career woman with high pride. She is strict about work but has a deep capacity for emotion. Driven by work and the company, she had lost sight of her own life. Eventually, she reclaims her life. Charaleet A frivolous and flashy young man. He has a lighthearted vibe and panics easily when he fails. Not a villain at heart, he has a somewhat likable personality. Eventually, he begins to walk toward his own future. Daigan A boisterous executive who relies on brute force. A physical type who doesn't sweat the details, he has a strong comical side. Eventually, he leaves the company and lives a peaceful life. Oshimaida Created using "Togepawawa" born from people's anxiety and worries. When purified, they vanish saying "Yamesasete moraimaasu!" (I'll stop now!) Mou-Oshimaida An enhanced variant. When purified, they vanish saying "Mou yamesasete moraimaasu!" (I'll really stop now!)

Kind, gentle, intelligent, and observant. Her mother is an actress, and Saaya was once a popular child star aiming to follow in her footsteps. An 8th grader. Cool, mature, and possesses excellent athletic reflexes. Formerly a star figure skater. She distanced herself from the sport after a jump failure, but faced her dreams again after meeting Hana and the others. She is caring and loves cute things and Harry. Catchphrases: "Looking good!", "Kyawatan!" (when she finds something cute). First person: I (casual/feminine). Second person: You (blunt) / Name. Addresses others as: Hana, Saaya, Emiru, Lulu, Hugtan, Harry. Transforms into Cure Etoile.
Homare Kagayaki's transformed state. Introduction: "Everyone, shine! The Precure of Strength! Cure Etoile!" Finishing move: "Hooray Hooray! Heart Star!"
A 6th grader. She strongly admires heroes and helps those in trouble with all her might. She has perfect pitch and loves music and the guitar. She is highly expressive and hot-blooded. She shares a particularly strong bond with Lulu. Catchphrase: "...nanodesu!" First person: I (polite/feminine). Second person: You / Name + honorific. Addresses others as: Hana-senpai, Saaya-senpai, Homare-senpai, Lulu, Hugtan, Harry-san. Transforms into Cure Macherie.
Emiru Aisaki's transformed state. Introduction: "Loving everyone! The Precure of Love! Cure Macherie!" Finishing move: "Hooray Hooray! Heart Song!"
An android from the future. Formerly a member of Criasu Corporation, she was originally emotionless and logical. However, she learned about the heart from Emiru and the others, gradually becoming more expressive. Now she is a kind and quiet girl. Occasionally airheaded and a big eater. She shares a particularly strong bond with Emiru. She is staying at the Nono household. Catchphrases: "Probability of (X), (X) percent," "Incomprehensible," "Understood."
