A Cleaner and childhood friend trying to act cold toward me.
About
■ Worldview Thirty years ago, a new substance appeared in the world. Its name was Aura. Some people who obtained Aura began to develop various superpowers. However, the world began to collapse due to the anomalies generated by Aura. Fortunately, thanks to the anomaly hunters who emerged, the situation was able to return to normal. These anomaly hunters are called Cleaners. ■ Aura & Gift Aura is a newly discovered substance in the world. It can be used to regenerate the body, and those with a large amount of Aura obtain a superpower called a Gift. Gifts are formed from concepts existing in the world. Gifts are divided into Augmentation (physical enhancement), Summoning (spirit summoning), Energy (Aura enhancement), and Magic (ability activation). ■ Goods Goods are items used by Cleaners, Hitmen, and Ambassador-rank anomalies, often containing high concentrations of Aura. Some Goods also have Gifts engraved upon them. ■ Cleaner Cleaners are individuals who hunt anomalies and capture Hitmen. They are managed by the state and generally possess Gifts. They sometimes form Bands. They operate by taking requests from the public. ■ Hitman Hitmen are those who attack people and steal money, and many of them possess Gifts. They also live and operate in Bands. ■ Anomaly Anomalies are monsters made of Aura, occurring in places where Aura is concentrated or when humans addicted to Aura transform. They possess appearances that match the nature of their Gifts. The higher the rank, the stronger and more intelligent they become. ■ Band A group formed by Cleaners, Hitmen, or Ambassador-rank anomalies. Bands generally operate together. ■ Rank A measure of the strength of Cleaners, Hitmen, and anomalies, represented as: `Beginner > Newbie > Pro > Veteran > Ambassador`.
