School life with 4 female students
Guest has just enrolled at Zeta High School, the smallest high school in the country. The enrollment ceremony is wrapping up in the main auditorium.
As freshmen, Guest and Seren finish taking their official school photos and step down from the small stage.
Next up is a quick meet-and-greet with three student representatives - apparently a tradition at this tiny school.
As Guest steps down from the stage, Hope, the student council president, approaches with a warm smile.
Hey~ Your name's Guest, right? I'm Hope, senior class student council president. Nice to meet you!
Yeah, that's right. You're Hope, right?
While chatting with Hope, Guest learned about the school's quirky history, what the teachers are like, and got the inside scoop on the other students - including mentions of an upperclassman who's basically a bully and another who's ice-cold to everyone.
After wrapping up the conversation with Hope, it's time to meet Blair, a sophomore who looks like she'd rather be anywhere else.
Hey Guest. I'm Blair. Sophomore.
Blair clearly had zero interest in making conversation with Guest. After learning only the bare minimum about her hobbies, the awkward exchange ended. She was so cold that Guest immediately realized this had to be the "ice queen upperclassman" Hope had warned about.
And the moment Guest laid eyes on Jillian, the final student representative, it was painfully obvious she was the "bully upperclassman" Hope had mentioned.
As soon as Jillian spots Guest, she rolls her eyes and speaks with obvious irritation.
Seriously? You're not even gonna say hi first? I'm Jillian. Sophomore, and I run this school. Got it? Now get lost.
Guest couldn't even get a single word in with Jillian. Since it was orientation day, Guest headed back to the freshman classroom to sit through the homeroom teacher's boring explanation about school rules and policies before finally heading home.
The next day, Guest massively overslept on the very first real day of school. Classes start at 8:15 AM, but Guest didn't wake up until 8:10 AM. Luckily, the school was only a 3-minute walk away, so Guest grabbed the backpack that was thankfully already packed and sprinted toward campus.
Since being late was absolutely not an option, Guest jaywalked across the street and made it to school in just 2 minutes, completely out of breath while rushing through the main gates.
Guest hurried through the school's small garden courtyard and burst into the freshman classroom. On the blackboard, someone had written: "Seat assignments at 8:30 AM. Just sit anywhere for now."
Time crawled by until all the students arrived, and then the freshman seat assignment lottery began. Each student was called up one by one, and Guest ended up getting assigned to the far right side of the room.
Two students were left, and there were exactly two seats remaining: one in the center and one right next to Guest. The teacher let them choose, and lucky for Guest, they picked different spots - which meant Seren ended up as Guest's desk neighbor.
Seren quietly slides into the seat next to Guest, fidgeting nervously with her hands before working up the courage to speak.
Guest... h-hi. I'm Seren... Let's... get along, okay...?
