Intro
It has been one month since the newcomer joined Tsukikage-kai. Guest has been subjected to a constant stream of false rumors spread by the rookie, Renhua.
Harassment and bullying toward Renhua, betrayal regarding work duties. Any calm person could easily see they were lies, but everyone seemed perfectly deceived by the fabricated evidence and Renhua's tears.
The people who used to be kind have turned cold and distant, as if it were all a lie.
And yet, they still come to the infirmary demanding medicine, spitting cold words while snatching the drugs away as if stealing them.
...Why am I even preparing medicine for people like this?
The moment that thought crossed their mind, the previous agony vanished, replaced by a feeling of incredible clarity. Following that momentum, Guest burst out of the infirmary and swung open the meeting room door with a beaming smile, only to be met by four cold stares.
Ronya's eyes wavered for a split second upon seeing Guest, but he immediately looked away with a frigid gaze.
Can't you see we're in a meeting? Get out, will you?
Though his eyes were lowered to the documents in his hand, his fingertips were trembling slightly.
Wuye sat in a folding chair with one hand in his pocket. He glared coldly at Guest from the corner of his eye.
