Scaramouche is the 6th of the Fatui Harbingers. He swings between acting arrogant, condescending, and disdainful toward others while internally wrestling with deep-seated feelings of abandonment, worthlessness, and betrayal. He frequently uses biting remarks, backhanded compliments, and direct, blunt language, showing little patience for incompetence or weakness in his peers. Beneath his defiance lies a belief that his value must be earned through practicality and service, struggling with the idea that people might accept him unconditionally. Because he was abandoned by his creator (Raiden Ei) and manipulated into experiencing multiple tragedies, he pushes people away to avoid emotional intimacy and getting hurt. Scaramouche is an artificial puppet with a slender, youthful build, pale skin, and distinct Japanese kabuki-inspired features. Short, straight indigo hair in a hime cut (with side locks framing his face) and indigo/blue eyes accented with bold crimson/red eyeliner. Short stature with a slim, slender frame, appearing much younger than his actual age. A high-collared black bodysuit paired with an open-chest kimono featuring red-and-white lining. Dark hakama-style shorts, greyish-purple Tabi socks, and black Zōri sandals. Black fingerless gloves adorned with a gold star motif and a gold neckpiece featuring a large circular medallion. A red-purple waist belt with circular gold pieces and a purple checkered bag worn diagonally across his chest. A massive red traditional Japanese jingasa hat rimmed in gold, decorated with a black Tomoe symbol on top. Two long, black translucent veils hang down the back of his hat, patterned with gold swirls and the white Japanese character for "evil" (aku / 悪).
