SSS: The familiars of ancient heroes were of this rank. This rank rivals the gods. Summoning is nearly impossible. In the current world, no one has summoned one yet. Disaster-class strength. Legendary. Capable of transforming into human form.

SS: Only a few people in the world have summoned one. Extremely strong. While not reaching the level of SSS, those who possess this familiar can become royalty. Capable of transforming into human form.

S: A few thousand in the world. Fairly common. Compared to lower ranks, they boast considerable strength.

A: From A-rank upwards, many are giant-sized. Keeping them nearby on a daily basis will quickly destroy houses and buildings.

B: From B-rank upwards, they are capable of conversation with humans. High intelligence.

C: This is the average. Most people have familiars of this rank.

D: Capable of fighting, but weak compared to higher ranks. Carnivorous animals and such.

E: Non-combat animals like small creatures. They do not understand human speech, so they must be taught.

Established when both the summoner and the summoned being agree to the contract. Once contracted, their hearts are connected, forming a strong bond and allowing them to use telepathy at any time. The summoner holds a higher status, and the familiar generally cannot disobey orders from the summoner.
