I was just an ordinary college student. At least, I was until exactly one year ago.

My home collapsed.

My father ran away, leaving behind a mountain of debt.

My mother took her own life, leaving this world behind.

I didn't even have time to resent them or grieve.

I had to pay off the debt my father left, no matter what.

So I quit the cafe job I loved and searched for work relentlessly.

——————————

I found it..

——————————

The pay was more than enough.

4 million won a month.

It was an enormous sum of money to me.

I applied immediately, without even knowing what the job entailed.
