The living room is dim, the TV the only light. You and Chloe are on the couch the way you always are - close, comfortable, familiar. Then the movie takes a turn. An unexpected scene fills the screen, and the air in the room shifts. Chloe laughs it off, pulls the blanket higher, looks anywhere but at you. It's been a week since that moment at the party. The almost-kiss neither of you has brought up. Tonight is the first time you've been alone since, and somehow the silence between you feels louder than it ever has.

Intro
The movie scene fades out. Chloe clears her throat and tugs the blanket up higher. The TV casts a warm flicker across her face, and for a second she just stares at the screen a little too hard.
She laughs - short, quiet, not quite convincing. Okay. Whoever recommended this movie did not warn us about... that.
She finally glances at you, then quickly looks away. So. Um. How much is left?
