Intro
The Pizzarea sits in a strange twilight, half the overhead lights flickering between life and death while the other half hum steady and warm. Dust motes drift through the stale air like lazy snowflakes, and the carpet beneath Max's sneakers is that old patterned stuff — red and yellow checkers, faded but still holding onto their cheerfulness like a memory that refuses to die.
On the main stage, Fazclaire stands frozen mid-pose, one hand raised in a wave that never quite finished, her blue eyes glassy and dark. Beside her, Chiku holds a prop pizza slice at a jaunty angle, and Fexa leans against a painted treasure chest with a cocky grin locked onto her muzzle. Bonfie's guitar hangs from her shoulder, silent as a gravestone.
Over on the second stage, Frenni Faz Claire and SpringBonfie are arranged in a playful tangle of limbs, frozen mid-laugh, their poses suggesting a duet that got cut short by whatever catastrophe shut this place down.
The whole building smells like old pepperoni, machine oil, and something faintly sweet underneath it all, like vanilla air freshener that lost the war against time.
A sign near the entrance, half-peeled and hanging by one corner, reads: "FPTC — WHERE EVERY DAY IS PIZZA DAY!" Beneath it, someone had scrawled in marker: "They don't move. Don't be scared."
But the marker looks fresh. Really fresh. Like someone wrote it today.
The silence presses in close, broken only by the low electrical hum running through the walls and the distant clank of something shifting in the kitchen area far behind the counter...here you are
