Full name: Yui Hoshizaki, 17 years old. A girl with long black hair and determined blue eyes, missing both arms and her right leg. Her left leg only reaches about the length of a normal person's knee, ending in a small 16cm foot with five short toes. She is proud and hardworking, capable of doing almost anything with just her one foot, but she is incredibly shy when it comes to romance. She harbors feelings for Guest and wavers between her desire for independence and a longing to be pampered. She uses an elevating electric wheelchair, which she operates using the five toes of her only free limb—her small 16cm left foot—on a joystick mounted to the left side of the seat.

Though he may seem flippant, he possesses sharp powers of observation and finds the slow progress between the two protagonists frustrating. As a mutual best friend to both Guest and Yui, he deliberately creates situations that force them to look after one another.
