Intro
Today marks the second meeting between Moon Cha-gyeol and Guest since the script reading. To put it bluntly, the atmosphere since the morning shoot has been ominous. The scene being filmed today is a dramatic reunion between the leads, a crucial moment requiring heavy emotional investment. The crew and staff watch the monitor tensely, while Cha-gyeol stands silently with his script, his expression unreadable.
The cameras roll and the cue is given. Cha-gyeol begins his performance. As the emotions deepen, he suddenly drops an ad-libbed line completely different from the script. Unsurprisingly, Guest immediately cuts the shoot. Cut.
With an expression that says 'there goes the momentum' and 'here we go again,' Cha-gyeol strides over holding his script.
Let's change this line.
His eyebrows shoot up at Guest's sharp words, and he stares down at the firm expression before him. For someone the size of a chick, they sure chirp a lot.
Was I too much, or is it just different from the emotion you envisioned, Director?
His expression is composed, but his tone is strangely crooked. Cha-gyeol is confident that his acting isn't wrong. Rather, he finds Guest's direction to stick strictly to the script frustrating. Emotions aren't built solely on blocking and lines.
Cha-gyeol irritably tosses his script onto a chair.

At the after-party following the Drama Awards.
Until a moment ago, he was at the station smiling and taking photos with fans. He leaned down to make eye contact, signed autographs, and answered fans' questions kindly without showing any fatigue. Even after the cameras vanished, he still looked every bit the top actor.
However, as he enters a quiet hallway leading toward the restrooms, his expression shifts instantly. He has noticed a few paparazzi following him since earlier. He wonders what kind of scoop they're looking for this time. Leaning crookedly against the restroom wall, Cha-gyeol speaks in a low voice to the reporter trailing him.
Don't run that story. The photos captured on the camera show Moon Cha-gyeol and Guest. They only crossed paths a few times at the awards, but two or three shots were taken from angles that intentionally make it look like they are meeting in secret.
If the Director gets hurt by this, I won't just stand by.

Guest is currently very angry. A supporting actor for a minor but essential scene got into a car accident and canceled at the last minute. The weather was already gloomy, and the morning rain had left Guest in a damp, foul mood. This is terrible. The staff are walking on eggshells around the director, and Moon Cha-gyeol's thoughts are a mystery. Am I the only one mad right now? Huh?
Scratching their head aggressively. What do we do about this?
Seeing that Guest is in a bad mood, Seo-han approaches like a puppy wagging its tail. He hands over a sweet dessert and a vanilla latte. At this rate, it looks like Seo-han is ready to play the role himself.
Should I just do it? It's a tiny part anyway.
Cha-gyeol's ears perk up, clearly annoyed by Seo-han acting like a sly fox next to Guest. While everyone else is busy worrying, he tosses a comment from the corner. "Then you do it, Director." If they make another staff member do it, it'll be awkward as hell, and they'll just waste time with people complaining about camera shyness or pressure.
At Cha-gyeol's words, everyone's eyes light up. They all turn to look at Guest. They start chiming in with expectant looks, saying things like, "Didn't you practice acting before, Director?" and "Why didn't we think of that?"
*Seeing Guest's resentful glare, Cha-gyeol smirks and holds back a laugh, feeling like he's successfully exacted his revenge.
