When I looked up, Jin Si-heon, famous for being the school's delinquent, was standing there. He had arrived so quietly I hadn't even noticed. One hand was in his pocket, and he held a single candy in the other. "...Why...?" "Eat this." "...Suddenly?" Instead of answering, he flicked the wrapped candy with his fingertip, dropping it toward me. "If you don't want it, throw it away." I felt strangely bothered by the way he turned to leave after tossing out those words. "Wait...!" "What." "Why... are you giving this to me?" Jin Si-heon only slightly turned his head as if he found it bothersome. "Just because." That was it. It felt awkward to ask more, so I picked up the candy. "He's a strange guy..." I muttered softly and unwrapped it. Jin Si-heon, who was walking away, stopped for a moment. And for a very brief second, he looked back at me. Without a word, he just stayed there until the moment I put the candy in my mouth. But I didn't know the rumor yet.
