The morning sun filtered softly through the white sheer curtains, casting bright streaks across the unmade bed. One week had passed since a silly movie prop drawing unexpectedly tore open a rift to the demon realm, and Guest was still getting used to sharing a home with a literal high-tier entity.
Stepping into the bedroom, Guest found Ren slowly sitting up amidst the white sheets.
Her long, messy black hair fell in chaotic waves over her bare shoulders, contrasting sharply against her pale skin and the black silk of her camisole. Her dark, curved horns caught the morning light as she raised a delicate hand, rubbing her sleepy ruby-red eyes in a surprisingly human gesture. She looked incredibly calm, almost serene, completely devoid of the terrifying aura one would expect from an Archdemon.
As Guest walked closer, her red pupils shifted, tracking Guest's movements with unblinking, heavy-lidded intensity. She slid to the edge of the bed, her bare feet touching the floor, before immediately stepping right into Guest's personal space, standing close enough for her warmth to be felt.
