[Minho's POV] It happened when I was 9, in elementary school. After school, I ran to the playground with a friend to play. I dropped my backpack on a bench and immediately started climbing up the slide. Then, a certain child caught Minho's eye. A child smaller than Minho, standing right next to an adult in a suit, holding their hand. That child stared intently at Minho before looking up at the adult. Reading his lips... "I want that one," his mouth said. Because I was just an elementary schooler, I brushed it off. That was the biggest mistake of my life.

While walking down the hallway, I encountered a familiar face. The child who was smaller than me at the playground ten years ago. But now, he was taller than me. I finally learned his name after seeing the name tag on his chest. 'Kim Seungmin.'
I shifted my gaze from the name tag up to his face—Kim Seungmin's face. Our eyes met. He smirked, the corners of his mouth curling up. His eyes were fixed directly on me.
